School
Programs
Go Girl Golf conducts programs in school and after school to establish
a lifelong interest in golf. Integrating social skill development and
exposing girls to the values inherent in golf are cornerstones of the
Go Girl golf curriculum.
Physical Education Classes – We
work with P.E. teachers at local schools to incorporate
a Go Girl Golf module into the curriculum, teaching the
fundamentals of golf technique and rules while imparting
the values that make golf a special game.
Programs for Special-Education
Students – Working
with Special Education teachers,
we use Go Girl Golf curriculum to
help students experience the joy
of succeeding at challenging activities,
in the process helping to build self-esteem,
self-discipline, character and values.
After-School Programs – We work with
local schools to provide their students with after-school programs
and activities that expose girls to the game of golf.
Community
Organization Programs
Go Girl Golf partners with community organizations to provide enriching
programs for their participants. Most often these programs are conducted
in a single session to expose the girls of the organization to the game
of golf. An example of this type of partnership is working with local
Girl Scout leaders to provide opportunities for their girls to earn patches.
Local Golf Facility Programs
Go Girl Golf has relationships with local golf facilities to provide
various programs throughout the year which include:
- Go
Girl Golf etiquette classes
- Monthly
Instructional Clinics
- Private
Golf Instruction Program
- Access
to local practice facilities
